Mike founded The Scheiderich Agency in Downtown Buford and works with Georgia homeowners, families, and business owners on coverage decisions that are usually easier to put off than to understand. His job is to make the tradeoffs clear so you can decide with the whole picture in front of you.

Mike founded The Scheiderich Agency with a focus on clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. With years of experience working alongside Georgia homeowners, families, and business owners, he understands how insurance decisions affect people's lives and finances — not in the abstract, but in the specific months when a claim, a closing, or a loss actually lands.
As a licensed Allstate agent, he leads an office built around honest guidance and bilingual service in English and Spanish. The agency operates out of Downtown Buford, a few steps from Historic Buford City Hall, and serves clients across Gwinnett County, Metro Atlanta, and the rest of Georgia.
Mike's approach is straightforward: explain what a policy actually does before talking about what it costs. Most people are underinsured in one place and overpaying in another, and neither problem is visible until someone walks through the declarations page line by line. That review is where most of his client relationships start.
Most conversations start in one of these four places.
Families figuring out how much life insurance they actually need, rather than guessing at a number
Business owners who need commercial and personal coverage handled together
Households with multiple properties, vehicles, or an umbrella policy need
Clients weighing term versus whole life, or reviewing an older policy that may no longer fit their situation
Life insurance is the coverage people put off longest, usually because the amount feels like a guess. Mike walks clients through what the number should actually be based on income replacement, debt, mortgage balance, and children's education — and what type of policy fits the situation. Term and whole life solve different problems, and the right answer depends on what the money is meant to do.
If you want the longer version before you call, our life insurance page covers how coverage types differ and what to look at when reviewing a policy you already own.
Two minutes of inputs gives you a working estimate to bring to the conversation.

Schedule a reviewThree steps, no pressure at any of them.
You call or send the form, and the first exchange is about your situation — what you own, who depends on you, and what you already have in place. Nothing is quoted yet.
Mike walks through what each coverage actually does and where your current limits sit. If something you have already is working, he will tell you that too.
You get the options in writing and take the time you need. Coverage is only in force once a policy is issued and confirmed — never on the strength of a conversation.
